Today's Art 2014
Today's Art is called a festival. When I first arrived at the first exhibition space I can't say it felt like a festival. Being greeted by a big iron fence with security made it feel more like a prison visit. Luckily, we got inside quickly to see the stuff.
The poster telling you it's not actually a prison.
I got up-to-date with current eastern affairs thanks to this friendly passenger.
Inside we got some more information while 2 video installations were being distracting. We were told the background image of the first room was the first image to be used by Photoshop. It was the most Photoshopped image ever, because it came packed-in with the original Photoshop.

I can go on about all the works but I just want to talk a little bit about my favorite: 216 prepared dc-motors by 'Zimoun'
Photoshop!
I really liked the installation. It was a big room (yes, I didn't take a picture of my favourite thing there.) with white walls and these metal cord-like things rattling constantly. From the outside it sounded very relaxing, like rain when you're sitting inside all warm and cosy. On the inside of the room I felt the opposite, I wanted to get out as quickly as possible because the noise was so overwhelming. I don't know if it was intended or not, but I liked having 2 complete opposite feelings at the same installation.

After walking to the second location and walking around the area of Scheveningen a bit I had to go, so I didn't get to see what was apparently an awesome performance by ZOHN. Next year?
